We are moving towards carbon neutrality with a state-of-the-art biomass boiler and a circular-economy strategy recognised by the 2022 Forbes–Credit Suisse Award. We were the first Spanish food and agriculture company to obtain Zero Waste certification, and we give a second life to 97% of our waste — including spent coffee grounds, which are used as fuel for the boiler.
We are members of SMETA–SEDEX, reflecting our commitment to the highest standards of ethical trade in human and labour rights, workplace health and safety, environmental impact and business ethics. This helps ensure that economic goals are pursued through an ethical lens, enabling responsible, high-quality growth.

SOCIAL IMPACT PROGRAMME
Through PROMUEVE, we support initiatives in four areas:
1. Coffee for every household in Palencia
Our product donation programme enables civil-society organisations to bring our products to those who need them most.
2. Sponsorship of sporting events
For many years, we have sponsored community races and the Venta de Baños International Cross-Country Race.
3. Partnership with the Palencia Provincial Organ School and the “Música por mil tubos” Organ Festival.
We support the careers of young artists through our PROARTE Award.
4. Participation in educational initiatives
Through partnerships in vocational education and the Coffee Classroom, a public–private initiative that promotes Palencia as a #CityOfCoffee.
Our PROSIGUE integrated management system provides guidelines and boundaries for the performance of our team and suppliers. It is how we establish an ethical position on the key aspects of our business.
CERTIFICATIONS
Our certifications cover fair trade, quality assurance, environmental standards and specific regulatory requirements. Together, they attest to the high level of excellence across our processes.
